bluetooth possibly resets on android client

I am trying to narrow down what might be causing this but wanted to know if anyone else is running in to what I am. I use a motorola s10-hd bluetooth headset and occasionally when a track is loading or trying to play it loses connection with my phone. i look in the notification bar and it shows that no device is connected then the headset reconnects a few seconds later. sometimes when it does reconnect sound from the player does not play back through the headset, i then go into the bluetooth options and it shows the headset is only connected for phone audio, not media also. sometimes i wait and the "play media through headset" will come back on, other times i have to disabled bluetooth on the phone and then turn it back on.

reason i am posting this here in the subsonic forum is because it only happens while I am listening to music through the subsonic app, when listening over poweramp or the stock music app i do not see this happen. it seems like something is resetting the bluetooth stack and it doesnt start back up properly.

I am trying to get a logcat but every time i turn on the logging it doesnt happen :\

i am using cyanogenmod7 nightly releases but im not sure if that has something to do with it since it does not happen outside of the subsonic app of which i have observed anyway.

anyone else run into this with a bluetooth headset?

did you ever find a solution for that as I do have a similar problem: The client starts playing over the bluetooth-connection but then it loses connection. My car says "Music stopped" (so it seems the connection is broken) but the player is still playing. That happens with the original Subsonic-Client and with Dsub.

It never occured on my iPhone, or with any other player on android (PowerAmp, Google Music...)

I'm using the new Xperia Z

while the times this has occurred has become less frequent it did just happen the other day at the gym and was kind of embarrassing because it started playing loud music through the phone speaker lol

are you also using cyanogen or a stock rom?

I'm using the non-rooted stock rom.
