Buffering

I would like to donate and keep this program running but before I do so I need to know if it will be able to handle my needs.
The issue I am running into (partial ISP issue) is that movie playbacks have a hard time. is there anyway to get these movies to buffer, like when you pause on youtube and resume, giving the download time to catch up? This happens when accessing outside of the local network. also I can't play movies on my android phone but music will stream. This is not a huge problem since I use qloud on my android phone and Airvideo for apple devices.
