Subsonic losing contact with main music folder via network d

I have the program running on a machine that stays on all the time and is directly (via ethernet) connected to the same router that the network drive (which contains the main music folder) is also directly connected to, but every so often (from a day or so to a few days) ) Subsonic shows a red line through it in the system tray and although when I check the service status is "running. auto start" but it shows no server address and no info in the "started on", "memory used". or "error message" boxes.

FYI: the network drive is also in continuous (no sleep or hibernate) mode.
