Android Car DVDPlayer

First of all, i have to say that this is a great app! so far the best streaming software I have tried.

I am planning to buy a Car DVDPlayer that runs Android (2.3), my only doubt is if Subsonic can run on this Android´s version.

Another quick question, I want to share server access with my friends, its possible to have a proxy service or something like that? (obvosly what I want is to hide my IP address).

If you pay for a license, you will get a *.subsonic.org "domain name" to give to your friends that will connect to your server (provided you have port forwarding enabled on your router).

As far as the Android software, there is a Subsonic app for Android that you would plug in your hostname and connect to your server to stream media.
