External Player via API

I am trying to build my own web based front end via the API. I was wondering how I would go about using an external player and the jukeboxControl.view. I got it working just fine if I use Jukebox mode, but I want to be able to play using the sound card on the local (client) PC, not the Subsonic server.

I am able to add and see songs in the play list, but am unsure about how to capture the stream being sent from the Subsonic server and play locally.

I am using windows xp and version 4.8 of subsonic.
