MusicCabinet + iSub = Nullpointererror... help!

So MusicCabinet support is nonexistant these days... Looking for help from you guys...

Trying to get my library going on an iPhone and having a hell of a time.

Installed iSub. Can see my library, but whenever I try to play ANYTHING, I get "Error: nullpointererror" or something like that? Looks like a Java issue and it is certainly server side.

I am running with the newest Java installed.

Any ideas on this? Pretty desperate

Unfortunately your premise seems to be correct. Hakko, the developer disappeared back in May for reasons only he knows. It was a loss to the Subsonic community, not only because of his development skills, but he was also an active contributor helping other members on many issues.

It might be time to just concede and go back to the standard Subsonic server or the Madsonic fork.

This hasn't been a good year for Subsonic as it's development pace has slowed. Forum participation is waning. Development news is non-existent. New pricing structure and Android app changes were poorly introduced and offended many loyal users.

Fortunately, the Madsonic project is still active and full of new features. I now only use Subsonic for very limited specific environments and as a reference, for everything else I use Madsonic.

It is sad. For several years this was one of the best forums around with many knowledgeable contributors. Fortunately, there is still a wealth of information here in previous posts that answer most questions a user will have. Maybe that part of the reason why the activity has fallen; just about every conceivable issues has been answered multiple times already.
