2.9 beta issues (thumbnail issues etc.)

Hi, I have recently installed the 2.9 beta 1 of Subsonic, and have problems with displaying album art.

I have a new server this time, freshly installed, running Fedora Core 6, java 1.5_09, and Tomcat 6.

The problem that thumbnails are not displayed. I have looked through the subsonic/thumbs directory, and the .jpeg's are files are all created with a size of 0 bytes... resulting in no images displayed. If I am pressing the "enlarge" link below the image space, the image is displayed in the in the popus window, but I guess you are using the original image file for this one?

I first thought this was caused by lack of permission, but the user starting tomcat is owner of the subsonic/thumbs folder, and I have even tried starting Tomcat as root, but with the same result.

I'm looking forward to the next version.

Hi Inge,

The problem with corrupt thumbs (empty files) has been fixed in 2.9 final. The best thing you can do until then is to delete all the empty files and reload the page in the browser.
