install guide

hello folks

i have bin trying to install subsonic and apache/tomcat but what do i have to do now. subsonic is running localy that is what i see and he finds the music
i now that i have to give my router a green light with a port number
i was wondering if there is a good step to step instal guide.
i dont now anything about tomcat so please help me out with this
