Bug in Album Folder Name

Postby mswguitar » Wed Nov 10, 2010 5:32 pm

Hello,
I was browsing through my Metallica album collection and noticed that the "...And Justice For All" album wasn't showing up in Subsonic. I went to the actual folder and removed the "..." from the beginning and it then showed up (as "And Justice For All"). Not a big deal, just though I'd post what I found.

I'm using the Windows version 4.1 (build 1802).

This is most likely due to files beginning with periods being hidden. Windows doesn't respect this, but Unix-based operating systems (Linux, OSX) hide any files with leading periods. This includes Android. Subsonic may respect this in the Windows version server, as well.

I have noticed this same issue...it looks like certain characters trip up the scan process with periods being one of them in the latest beta.
