Album Art not Showing Correctly

I've been using subsonic for a few years now and I have a nagging problem that I can't find a solution for. All of my songs have embedded Cover Art. I also have my music library set up through XBMC. XBMC adds extra artwork to the album folders, one of which is the actual art on the CD. For some reason Subsonic wants to use the CD art that is in the album folder instead of the album art that is embedded in each song. These CD art files are .pgn extensions so I tried disallowing that in cover art files under the General Tab but it has not effect. I have way too many albums to go back and stick in an album cover.jpg in each album. I would really like all of the albums to display the cover art so it is consistent, is there another solution to this?
