Cant access my friends subsonic

I am having trouble accessing my friends subsonic account via the address bar on the internet. Is there a process to this? is there a program i need to download?

OK maybe a better way of phrasing it would be. How do i upload music to my friends subsonic?

Does your friends server have uploads enabled?
