Export track list to text file?

There have been various threads in this forum about exporting the Subsonic database to a text file but I couldn't find anything with an actual solution. Is there any simple way to export a table to a text file? I'm interested specifically in the list of music files, but a more general solution would be appreciated as well. I'm aware of url/db.view but that doesn't seem a practical way to do a query that might have tens of thousands of results, nor does it provide a way to output to a text file (other than, say, copy and paste from your web browser). Any ideas?
