Samsung Wireless Mobile Media Streaming Device

Hello - A brand new user to Subsonic and this forum.

I have recently bought a Samsung Wireless Mobile Media Streaming device The device has it own builtin wifi and I connect through that wifi connection. On trying it, although I can see it using the Samsung app on my various Nexus devices, the software does not seem to work properly. I also have the option of viewing it through a browser at 175.25.0.1 Although I can play individual tracks I cannot seem to easily use the music stored on it; therefore Subsionic seems to be the way to go.

The Subsonic demo software allows me to connect to the ip address, but then says a network error has occurred, leaving me with no access. Does the media device need further software to use it? I would have thought that if I can see the music titles at the ip address in a browser and play them individually through Poweramp, I should be able to, and prefer to take advantage of what Subsonic seems to offer. If so, can anyone help me, please.
