Ubuntu media folder not found problem

Postby pat58 » Sun Aug 24, 2014 12:57 am

New to ubuntu using 14.04. Installed subsonic, attempting to set up media (music) folder. Default name is listed as "Music" & default folder is listed as "/var/music." "Enabled" is checked by default, with "Folder not found" in red at far right. I click on "Scan media folders now" & "The media folders are now being scanned" message appears. No artists or albums ever appear on the left though.
I have tried changing the folder to "/home/pat/music" (guessing, since I am new to ubuntu), but get the same result as above. Also turned off firewall, but same result. Had previously installed subsonic on Windows 7 several months ago with no problems at all.

version 4.9
server:jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_32, Linux (32.8 MB / 89.0 MB)

Now working. I needed to use an upper case 'M' for "/home/pat/Music."
