Subsonic on Synology doesn't install

I run into a weired install error.

I have User Home activated, I created a folder /Subsonic, /home/Subsonic, /homes/admin/Subsonic, /Public/Subsonic even a /homes/guest/Subsonic and gave them admin and guest full access.

On installation Subsonic askes if I want to restore old settings, I choose NO and start installation and the installation keeps spitting errors of no folder Subsonic found in Public folder. Rebooting the DS1812+ brings no cure for this error and I tried latest beta and stable version of Subsonic from eg-blog.de's Dropbox folders.

I'm on DMS 4.3 and the /public is not creatable since its reserved. And thhe standard public folder is not created anymore by DSM since 3.x I think.

Any ideas?

I got exactly the same, and it's driving me CRAZY.

Still trying to get this running. Not even the Synology Support was able to help me with this, their statement is, ther is NO public folder on DS1812+ with DSM 4.2 and the name is reserved for further use in the future. Userbasedir is /homes on the DS1812+ with DSM 4.3.

Hell, I want SubSonic really hard, do I really have start to learn modifing and compiling everything? -.- My *nix knowledge is rather short for usual things, not for this, but well, seems I have no other chance than modifing everything.
