That's more than obvious.

OK - here's the bottom line:

You can spend a couple bucks and get an app that works and is actively supported, or you can whine about the Subsonic app that hasn't fixed this bug for as long as most of us can remember and pray that someday it will work.

The choice is entirely yours.

Any questions remaining?

No more questions. Only a feeling disappointment and an odd bitterness with relation to the way I've been dealt with here.

I fail to see what I've done to deserve your rather rude and off the cuff remarks when all I've done is post on a forum about a piece of software that I've paid to use.

I have a long experience with software, both open and closed source, and I've always believed in trying to help improve things in any way I can. Bug reporting is something I do on a regular basis.

Apparently that is not the culture here. I really couldn't care less about "a couple of bucks". I just like to see progress. I've only posted here with the aim of trying to make things better.

Now I find myself feeling that this forum is a hostile place populated by people who would rather insult than help out. Is that really what life is about ?

Thanks for nothing

Your welcome.

I'm sorry that you feel that way. The information you were given was as accurate and as helpful as it can be under the current circumstances. Unfortunately, you were looking for a solution that currently isn't available, while at the same time failing to realize that you were being given the best solution currently available.

I understand and share your frustration that you, as a user trying to give positive feedback, aren't getting what you think you should here in the forum. I'm sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news, but the reality is that there isn't much evidence that bug reporting, feature requests, and active development are a high priority.

You are not alone. Many users don't like the information I share. Sometimes the truth just isn't easy to hear. I sincerely hope you find the answer you are looking for. Best of luck.

This thread got hijacked a bit...

I'll give dsub a try but it wasn't the intended outcome. Aka, you are both right.
