Using Subsonic in the classroom

I would like to use Subsonic to stream audio (and maybe one day video) to up to 35 pupils in school as part of listening proficiency practice. They should all listen to the same fragment simultaneously. Ideally, I would like to be in charge of the stream, i.e. being able to pause it, start another fragment, etc. Could I let all pupils login to the same account, and me logging in through an admin account or something?

Thanks for your time. I am new to Subsonic (duh) and have not found this info elsewhere on the forum.
