Metadata/Library management in Subsonic?

I'm a newbie with subsonic. I see that you can manually edit tags for songs and search for cover art in the web interface, but have not noticed any features like this for more of a batch operation.

Is this outside of the scope of Subsonic? Should I be using something like MediaMonkey for this?

You can do bulk tag editing on a per album basis in the tag editor. Any more detailed than what the tag editor it can provide you are best to use another library system. We actually use iTunes to digitise our CD's and Gracenote gets the metadata. Any fixups then are made in iTunes before Zipping up the album and uploading. Any further fixups on the server can then be made in the tag editor.
