I think I messed something up...

Bear with me, because I know *nothing* about computers/networks/etc.

Been using Subsonic for years, and have been loving it. Then I decided to upgrade to Version 5 last night. Guess what? It doesn't work. Can't connect from my iPhone via iSub, or directly via my work computer. Just installed 5.1 beta tonight figuring that might help. Still can't connect. Then I had the bright idea of trying to reconfigure my porting, or my IP settings, or whatever. I don't know what any of this jargon means or how to work it, so I didn't know what I was looking for or where to look for it.

Anyway, I eventually landed back at the Settings page of my Subsonic account, and I unchecked the first box that said something about automatic port forwarding, or something like that (as I was getting an error right under it saying the automatic whatever didn't work). Point is, as soon as I did that, the page went dead, and I can't access it again to recheck that box! What the hell did I do?

Sorry for my complete lack of knowledge and for all the vague references to pages/wording. if I could open the page, I could tell you, but that's exactly the problem here!

I'm on a Macbook Pro running OSX 10.8.5, btw.

hmmm maybe try uninstalling 5 then going back to an earlier version and see if it works as it used to?
