Yosemite issues?

Postby gregsinibaldi » Fri Jan 30, 2015 7:17 pm

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Yosemite on my macbook. I'm running subsonic 5.1

I can no longer stream music via the browser. When I click on the play button for a given song I get a dialog asking me to download the file, which never happened before upgrading to Yosemite.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

Thanks for any help

Try this.

Go to settings > Players and delete the player associated to your computer. (You can also delete all players if you want to)

No luck! I deleted a number of players, each was named Player 24, player 25 etc

Does the player associated to your computer is "Web player" or is "External player"?
If is the "External player" try change it to "Web player"

I think I've narrowed it down to a port configuration issue...

I can stream music when on my home network but when I try and play things remotely I cant stream. My phone is able to stream as well, just not my laptop which I recently upgraded to Yosemite

I checked to make sure I have port 4040 open on my router. I also confirmed this via canyouseeme.org

What am I missing?

Thanks for the help

Have you tried a different browser, just to try and check the root cause.

Thanks Skywatcher... this problem doesn't occur when using chrome... Must be a firefox setting then right?
