Windows XP Firewall settings

Postby Bigpadg » Fri Mar 06, 2015 3:23 am

My Sub server was working great, I think until I upgraded to 5.2. My Roku's Media Player could no longer find it. Once I turned off my firewall, there was the server. All I need to know is what port entries need to be listed as exceptions. I'm using 4040 automatically configured. Thanks for any additional port info that will let me turn firewall back on and still see my Sub server.

Yes, but what about ports for UPnP for example, specific UDP and TCP ports necessary for DLNA to work correctly.
