Jukebox, mp3 vbr, avi playback issues

Postby honeybadger » Sat Mar 07, 2015 10:43 am

Hi,

I have encountered some issues after latest update to the 5.2.1 version. (using raspberrypi)
- The Jukebox doesn't work, and just do nothing. The log file shows this:
[3/7/15 11:21:49 AM CET] INFO TranscodeInputStream Starting transcoder: [/var/subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg] [-ss] [0] [-i] [directory/song.mp3] [-map] [0:0] [-v] [0] [-f] [s16be] [-]
[3/7/15 11:21:49 AM CET] INFO InputStreamReaderThread (/var/subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg) /var/subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg: 1: /var/subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
[3/7/15 11:21:49 AM CET] INFO JukeboxService user starting jukebox for "directory/song.mp3"
[3/7/15 11:21:49 AM CET] INFO JukeboxService user stopping jukebox for "directory/song.mp3"

- mp3 vbr files and avi files have in the log the same thing with unexpected bracket thing.

Could you please help? It's really sad, that after update these key features does not work :(

Jukebox isn't working for me either... It just won't play, and isn't even giving any info in the log...
Casting to XBMC isn't working either....

Jukebox used to work fine for me on my old phone and older Subsonic server version...

Ok, I have solved it just by replacing ffmpeg in transcode directory, because it didn't replace itself while upgrading.

$ sudo rm /var/subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg
$ sudo ln -s /usr/bin/ffmpeg /var/subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg
