[SOLVED]Sorting by Disc Number and Track

Running 4.9 on Ubuntu Linux. I've got an issue where I've got a multi-disc album and SS isn't sorting correctly. The tags for each track in the album are like this:

Disc: 01/02
Track 01/08
track Name

Disc:01/02
Track: 02/08
track2 name

...

Disc: 02/02
Track: 01/07
track1 name

etc

The file names are like this:

0101 - Track1 name.flac
0102 - track2 name.flac
...
0201 - Track1 name.flac
0202 - Track2 name.flac

etc

Subsonic is displaying the tracks like this:

01 - Track1.flac (from disc 1)
01 - track1.flac (from disc 2)
02 - track2.flac (from disc1)
02 - trac2.flac (from disc2)
etc

How can I get SS to sort by disc first, then track? This info is written to the ID3 tags in MP3s and FLACs. Or would it be easier to have SS sort by filename? Is that possible? Thanks for the help!

Wow, I can't believe others aren't seeing this.

I know this isn't an issue with DSub, as my Subsonic server does the same thing. Is there a work around for this? Or is this a known issue? Thanks!

I'm wondering if this is a result of the following:

SETTINGS>PERSONAL>DISPLAY

Under here, I can see TRACK NUMBER, but I can't see DISC number. If this section is what I think it is, it would be great if we could check the boxes we want to sort by, but also put them in the order we want as well. So, my order would be:

Album Artist
Date
Album
Disc #
Track #
Track Title

That way, I could sort my DISPLAY and PLAYLISTS the way that makes logical sense. Because the sort order doesn't include DISC#, it's just sorting by track number randomly.

Are others experiencing this as well? Thanks!

I think I have this solved. The issue was my older version of SS. Once I upgraded to 5.2.1, the tracks started sorting correctly. They no longer display:
01 - Track
01 - Track
02 - Track
02 - Track
...

They now display:

0101 - Track
0102 - Track
...
0201 - Track
0202 - Track
...
