Subsonic knows I have files, but doesn't display them...

Postby infinitejones » Wed Jun 24, 2015 6:26 am

Hi everyone

I've installed Subsonic on my Ubuntu server and it all seems to be working fine - it has scanned my Music folder and it knows there are songs/artists/albums in there, but I can't work out how to get them showing up in the main section. See image below.

I'm sure the solution's very simple - what am I doing wrong?

I'm thinking maybe incorrect permissions on the folder where the music is stored... can anyone advise me?

What shows up when you click "Random" at the top of the screen?

My guess is the "Recently Added" only picks up albums/songs from folders that have recently been created, so if you've had the folders in the same location for longer than a month or so, the "Recently Added" form won't pick them up.

Go to: Settings --> Users, select the user "admin" (or any other user) and check the media folder you want in the section "Allow access to these media folders"
