So need some small help:
Just in case you need to know I'm Running Mac OS x 10.5 Subsonic behind a linksys router using port forwarding via port 8080, I currently have it setup and running for access over the web via example IP (72.2.3.4:8080) but I'm new at this and what I want to do is either 2 things if possible.
1) Use my existing domain name which I'm using for simple web pages (www.example.com) through godaddy pointing to apple hosting .mac/.me site with (CNAME www) like example setup a CNAME or something from them pointing to (www.example.com:8080) which would point to my own subsonic server and keep the web server running with apple, is this possible?
2) Use any domain name through like godaddy and set it up pointing to my home box for subsonic? I'm sure this is pretty possible but I don't know how.
Any help would be great

Well I fixed this in a way that works for me using HTML redirect, if anyones interested setup a page on my web server with this code which redirects that url to my home server hosting subsonic:

<meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0;url=http://72.2.3.4:8080">
</html>
May not be perfect or idea but works for me lol
