LDAP auth fails with new API token authentication

Since implementing API usage of tokenized authentication methods, my LDAP-backed subsonic server will not allow me to log in through any apps that use the tokens. Local users function correctly.

This issue was brought to my attention first in DSub android app, and the authentication method was reverted because it's a breaking change. but it requires the fix to be implemented server-side since it's API related. where can i submit a ticket for this issue? It continues to render the Polysonic chrome app non-functional for me.
