Subsonic not scanning/adding new files over FUSE filesystem.

So I'm mounting my Google drive with google-drive-ocamlfuse. See here: https://github.com/astrada/google-drive-ocamlfuse

This allows me to access my music via /google/music and everything is working great! .. Except for 1 thing. Subsonic isn't able to scan/add new files to it's library. Any ideas on why this isn't working? I can read and write files perfectly fine from the terminal.
