Using Subsonic w a Portable WiFi Enabled HDD

I've been using the latest version of Subsonic on my Droid Maxx cell phone and my Nexus 7 tablet to access media from my PC for years. Subsonic has been a wonderful solution. But now I'm considering investing in a Seagate Wireless Plus 2TB portable HDD (STCV2000100) to carry my media with me and relieve the load on my cell phone's data usage.

The Wireless Plus has its own WiFi network and would pair with my phone without using my plan's data, but I would LOVE to be able to use the Subsonic app to access and navigate the drive's content.

Is this possible with Subsonic? If so, how might I determine what path to enter into my Subsonic configuration to correctly access the Wireless Plus?
