Stuck theme

Postby bruhja » Fri Jan 30, 2015 10:20 pm

I am having an issue with the subsonic theme being stuck. When I change themes under general settings it only changes the theme on the login page, however once logged in its the same theme and wont change.

I have tried shutting down and restarting the server, clearing internet cache/temp files, as well as installing the 5.1 update hoping that it would correct the issue.

Where is the entry to manually edit the selected theme.

Bump... I am having the same issue. The theme changes properly on the login screen, but once I login, the theme is still set at the previous theme setting.

Same problem here. Saw it about 4 months ago and still an issue despite upgrading to 5.2.1.

System info below:

License Subsonic Premium
Version 5.2.1 (build 4428) – March 4, 2015
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_40, Windows 7 (87.8 MB / 157.3 MB)

Fwiw, I noticed only the subsonic.properties file changed within the c:\subsonic directory tree when changing the theme. Seems like other files should have changed too. Logged in and out also but no difference.

Thanks,

Phil

I found that this could be a sign of database corruption.
Shortly after creating this thread I began getting a 503 error when trying to access subsonic even through the localhost on the server its self.

After a ton of googling the issue I found that I had to delete the database folder and start from scratch.

I tried recreating the DB to no avail. There must be a config file issue or something...

I've been hitting this as well. I can't seem to figure it out. Theme support was working, then tapered off and finally just stopped displaying anything but the default theme. I've tried deleting the DB and starting over as well.
