Debian Install LineUnavailableException

Postby gustebeast » Wed Aug 31, 2016 4:12 pm

I am trying to set up subsonic on a headless debian server, but I keep getting errors when I try to play songs in jukebox mode.
If I use the recommended java package openjdk-7-jre I get this error http://pastebin.com/raw/Xue4JGGY
Error in jukebox: javax.sound.sampled.LineUnavailableException

If I use the oracle java package oracle-java8-installer I get this error http://pastebin.com/raw/yWRmWQ5U
Error in jukebox: javax.sound.sampled.LineUnavailableException: line with format PCM_SIGNED 44100.0 Hz, 16 bit, stereo, 4 bytes/frame, big-endian not supported.

How should I go about getting audio playback to work? I have it set up such that running 'alsamixer' gives the correct output device, and other applications are outputting sound correctly.
