Setting up: Cannot manually surf to my music folder

Hi

My music is on an external hard drive. Subsonic is not finding it, and I cannot figure out how to type in the drive where my music is.

I'm using a Mac with the latest updated OS, Sierra. My music is managed by iTunes.

Why is there no manual method on the setup page to surf to where our music is?

Is there a proper convention for typing in where the external drive is?
