folder named with written accents not indexed

I got my folders named as Genres,but genres with accented words in spanish (Clásica, Gótica) that folders never appears on the left side of the page. Seems like if Subsonic is unable to index that kind of folders.

Installed 3.7 (build 898) on Ubuntu. Tried Streamer 3.8.beta1 (build 1064) but same issue. Checked locale and are properly set (LC_ALL:es_ES), so it's not a Locale settings issue.

any suggestion?
