DSub is an android player derived from the original app that is probably the most active in continual develoment and feature enhancements.

(Shameless plug) SubFire's web version ( http://subfireplayer.net/p/ ) is partially a "progressive web app", meaning on Chrome for Android you can 'add to home page' and it will treat that launcher as more like an app than a web page. SubFire uses the pure html5 audio tag. I've been working on using phonegap to package it for various Android stores, but I need to get notifications working first and that hasn't been very successful so far.

Others are listed on http://www.subsonic.org/pages/apps.jsp

well, uninstalling/reinstalling works... for now.

Not quite sure what's causing it to fail though.
