Easy address has wrong port

I did some searching but didn't seem to find this exact issue.

I have my subsonic server setup to use port 4040 on my local machine and I have port forwarding in my router set to 80 on the internet. When I put in my "myname".subsonic.org URL I can't connect because it comes back looking for IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:4040 I know it is working because if I manually change it to port 80 on the external machine then it works. How do I get the easy access URL to stop also attaching the internal port. I really don't want to go back to running the server as root and just using a port 80 pass through.
