Songs not showing up in DB

Postby FlyingPersian » Thu Jun 01, 2017 9:37 pm

Hi
For some reason, Subsonic doesn't want to add an album and a song of one of my interpretes. I've had another album + song of him already, so the artist isn't new in my DB. I tried adding a completely different album and it worked fine. Not sure why subsonic doesn't recognize the album and song. The tags are all set properly. The log just states that it ran a search, that's it.

The album in question is: "Revelation Time" by "Million Stylez", and the song is "Million Stylez - Baddis Ting"

The only error that is in the log is the following, which occurs 3-4x for non-related artists:

Code: Select all
Error in REST API: /media/Music/Kranium/cover.png (No such file or directory)

I'm on FreeNAS 10, 6.1.1 (build 2a8e8d) , jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_121, HSQLDB.

Here the folder structure. As you can see, permissions are same for all songs, so either none or all should be recognized. The permissions are the same for my entire DB:

I moved the file/folder in question to a different artist, refreshed the DB, hit "clean DB" --> they showed up.
Removed them, hit "clean DB" again, copied them to the original artist's folder, hit scan gain --> they showed up.

Possible file permissions issue. Not sure if just "touching" the files in linux would have done the same thing to force a reread?

As I said, file permissions were fine. They were the same for all files.
