Subsonic stops playing...then stops loading

Problem Description: At some point while playing, the music will just stop and the play button turns into that circling graphic. Then the site itself will become unresponsive.
Troubleshooting Steps: At this point that instance of Chrome won't load the site or play music, but I can open IE, Firefox, or Incognito Mode in Chrome and it loads/plays fine.
Playback Application and version: Using latest Google Chrome - Subsonic site
Subsonic Version: 6.1.1 (build fc853b) – May 31, 2017
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_131, HSQLDB, Linux (54.6 MB / 131.5 MB)
Hardware Platform: Ubuntu 16+
Java Memory Limit: Not sure how to get this in Linux, if that's where I'm looking for it. The tab itself is using 100MB of memory in Chrome.
Output from ffmpeg -i: Not using Windows...not sure where I'd do this.
Last ten log file lines: Nothing except library refreshes here, and no errors.
