I was looking for a jukebox application alternative and subsonic seems to have a good potential.
The problem I have actually is that even in "jukebox mode" with minimum permission (only add music) there are still far too much permissions.
At first sight what would be required for a real jukebox is the possibility to remove (non exhaustive list):
- Left side menu (logout / Settings / Web Radios / etc)
- The possibility to remove music from a playlist
- The possibility to repeate/shuffle the playlist
- Top level menu items (Config menu / playlist / podcast / etc)
- Chat
Well... To make my question short. Is it possible to tweak the general interface to remove functions for a specific user?
And if yes, it would be perfect if someone could link me toward a decently well explained article
