I keep having the problem that subsonic won't recognize my new uploads after a scan (I'm using the latest version for debian). The files are on another mounted volume, and have chmod 777 applied to them.
I don't have much hope for fixing this problem because I'd imagine it is something subtle with my system that would be hard to debug (no visible error messages in subsonic.log
So, I'm looking for a way to quickly force a rebuild of the cache for a particular source media folder. Currently I remove the folder from the config, rename the actual folder, clean up database, add the newly named folder, scan, then change the directory back to the original name and add to subsonic. This seems to remove the cache, where simply deleting the folder and cleaning doesn't.
Is there any faster way to completely clear the cache for just one folder so I can get a full rescan?
