APP skipping back to "play" screen when pinning

Problem Description: I've had this issue for several years, but never gotten around to asking if this is intended or a bug. I use the app to download music to my phone, as I us it a lot offline. Everytime I pin an album, the screen jumps straight to the "Player" window. It happens every time, and it happens both when I pin an album via the "three dots" or if I go into an album folder, and scroll down to pin all...
It's been like this for every version I've had, and I've used it on everything from HTC to Huawei to Samsung. All phones and all versions have had this issue. Current phones are Huawei P10 and Samsung S8 - with the latest version from Play Store.

Server Version: t has been this way on every subsonic server I've had since I started using the app 5-6 years ago. Current version is 6.1.1

Hardware Platform: Samsung S8, but has been there on Samsung S3, S4, S6, Huawei P10, HTC.
