Synology Installation - not reading music files

Hi there,

I wonder if someone can help.

I have recently installed Subsonic 6.11 via the SPK from the main website that links to "https://github.com/ghenry22/Subsonic_Synology/releases" .
I have a Synology DS116 running DSM 6.1.3-15152 Update 6 and I'm using Java 8.0.121-0013

All seems to have gone fine with the installation and I can access the subsonic home page over the internet from a browser and the Android app on my phone.

Unfortunately I cannot see any music files. I have pointed the media folder to /volume1/music and granted Read/Write permissions to the subsonic DSM account.

I have checked the logs and it says the following almost straight away but does not index any files?

Can anyone help?

It seems after trying to add a specific album folder within /volume1/music and re-scanning several times it has added all the music.

I also have a folder /volume1/video with about 8 movies in the root of the directory. I am now having the same issue that it will not see any video files?
