podcast subscription breaks subsonic 6.1.2b

http://feeds.thewestwingweekly.com/westwingweekly - when I try that, everything on the podcast page freezes up completely. I get 500s trying to get the image and no other link seems to work. The only recourse was to go delete it within db.view (the tables are podcast_episode and podcast_channel). The logs are less than helpful in this case on telling me if anything went wrong.
