Trouble importing playlists

Problem Description: when importing Itunes playlists i get a message stating that there are no songs in the playlist. When i open the .m3u file in notepad all of the songs are sitting there.
Troubleshooting Steps: Exporting them a few times and created a smaller playlist with no joy
Playback Application and version: Subsonic is sitting on a NAS along with the files
Subsonic Version: 6.1.3 (build e408c9) – October 31, 2017
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_151, HSQLDB, Linux (121.8 MB / 247.6 MB)
Hardware Platform: Synology DS215j
Java Memory Limit: No idea :/
Problem Filename: N/A

Edit your .m3u file and point to the NAS location where is the file of the song.

Example (linux file system)
/mymusic/artist/album/01 song.mp3
/mymusic/artist/album/02 song.mp3
....

Then import the m3u to subsonic
