$RECYCLE.BIN Showing Up in Folder List

Postby StanleyNo4 » Fri Feb 16, 2018 11:15 pm

Hello.

I'm using Subsonic on Windows. In my folder list, at the bottom, is "$RECYCLE.BIN". How can I exclude that? And other folders, for that matter.

I tried adding the folder under "Media folders" and unchecking "Enabled" but that didn't seem to work.

Anyone know how? Thanks

So, does everyone just let people browse their recycle bin?

No, everyone doesn't just let people browse their recycle bin, but they create a folder Music or Media or whatever and put all their media in that folder.
Next they tell Subsonic to use that folder as the mediafolder.
In that way Subsonic just has access to the subfolders you create in the folder Music or Media and not to your entire harddisk.
