There should be links in the Start Menu: Start >> All Programs >> Subsonic to start and stop the Subsonic service and to start the tray-icon.
If you used the default installation Subsonic was installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Subsonic
Also you can check if the Subsonic -service is running in services.msc (Windows-key & R >> Services.msc)
If you have uninstalled the previous installation using Subsonic's uninstaller than you must be aware that the old database wasn't deleted,
To have a completely fresh installation you must uninstall Subsonic, reboot the machine and next delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Subsonic yourself.
If you don't do that Subsonic will be using the old (corrupt) database, no matter how often you uninstall and install Subsonic again.
The proper way to completely uninstall Subsonic would be:
Uninstall Subsonic using the uninstaller.
Uninstall Java
Reboot.
Delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Subsonic
When installing Subsonic again, change the installation path to something like C:\Subsonic.
