Android lock screen & notifications controls gone

Ever since the most recent update on 9-24, i have not had the music controls four subsonic on the notifications and lock screen. Under notifications on settings for subsonic, there is nothing and it says "This app had not posted Any notifications. I'm thinking this is some kind bug.

To add, I'm using pixel 2 with latest version of Android 9 and subsonic 4.5

I'm having this problem as well. Android 8, Subsonic 4.5, Samsung S8+.

The controls do show on the lock screen (just swipe the time/date and there they are), but the notification bar controls are missing. I use a smart watch, so without the notification controls, I can't manipulate the playback via the watch.

For me the lock screen controls are there but are white controls on a white background. Makes it very hard to see and manage the player.

Hello,
I met the same problem and solved it updating the app.
But for now, the app make my phone restart frequently.
