Can't change default admin password

Postby fortesparkles » Thu Nov 08, 2018 7:11 pm

I have a fresh install of Subsonic 6.1.3 on Ubuntu 16.04 and Oracle Java 8 (I followed these instructions).

I am able to connect to the Subsonic server, but I am unable to change the default administrator password. Under the Users settings tab for the "admin" user, there is a checkbox labeled "Change password", but checking it does nothing and no text field appears to enter a new password.

Same behavior in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

Not sure what I can do?

My guess is as good as yours, but I suspect that something went wrong installing Subsonic or installing Java.
Are all other functions working correctly? ( Adding media folders, playing music, creating new users.)
Did you try creating a new user and changing the password for that user?
You could try to log in with Chrome in Incognito-mode. This solved several issues on several websites for me.
Oh, and Version 6.1.4 is out now.
