I can't for the life of me get podcasts to download or Internet Radio to work:

Anyone got this to work and could give me an example of a link that works on both those instances?

I can't speak for podcasts, but internet radio I've found that several sites (including radionomy) are blocking 3rd party independent players. you really need to have exactly the streaming url itself. the embedded player is definitely not going to work. how to find that for any particular station based on its host, i honestly can not say. each will be slightly different and maybe you need to go to the page with the browser's debugging tools on and watch the network traffic to find the url.
