For the life of me, I cannot figure this one out. I'm running an Ubuntu server 16.04 LTR running 3 programs: mumble, Minecraft, and Subsonic 1.6.5. For the latter two, I'm using OpenJDE Java 8.
This is a fresh install and subsonic has constant database issues. I believe it's a database issue because when I delete /var/subsonic/db I can access the web interface (503 error).
I have music in /var/music. The subsonic user is the owner of the folder.
Whenever I try to rebuild the database, the whole machine locks up. I thought at first it was just Subsonic, but I was on mumble and it booted me for failure to respond to TCP pings.
For a hot minute, I had it working and rebuilt the entire database, but then suddenly the whole series of events happened again. I have no idea what's going on.
I've followed all the 503 error recommendations and nothing appears to make a difference.
Edit: The 503 error goes away if I give Subsonic 1G of space. However, there is still no playback on any file.
