Large Music Collection - Scanning Hangs

I have a huge media connection, ~1.5 million songs. I've always had an issue with scanning hanging, I thought it was due to an older computer. I just got a new computer powerful computer and set it up. Scanning still hangs. The wheel still spins but it's stuck at 995,798 it's now 10:08 here are the last few lines of the log:

I only have around 125,000 songs so I haven't really tried anything more. Maybe try scanning in batches?

Not to be that guy, but you should take a look here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5506

If you have the access, can you paste the raw log from /var/subsonic/subsonic.log ? It looks like you might have a background error there that's not being displayed in the UI.

EDIT: I don't run subsonic on WIndows, nor do I ever plan to. I'm not sure where this file is on WIndows but it should display the path to the log underneath the log window I believe.
