Make sure your user has access to your media folder enabled (Settings -> Users -> Your User -> Allow access to these... checkboxes ticked.

Many thanks for the reply, in glad to see it's not completely dead, I read a post yesterday of someone leaving for that reason...
Sorry I should of been more precise, there is nothing showing in on the pc that is my server, I can see how many tracks etc via the settings or more info forget which but there is nothing on the home screen, nothing showing anywhere so obviously nothing via remote. I rolled back to an older version and scanned again last night, no luck, I've also tried edge and internet explorer incase it was a java thing....

So I suppose you're able to open subsonic in your browser and after logging in you're presented with something similar to this:

If that's the case can you navigate to Settings -> Users and select your User from the dropdown list

and make sure there are checkmarks in front of the "Allow access to these media folders" tick boxes. Then you should be able to see your collection.

P.S: Subsonic works still excellent for my needs. Still haven't found a better replacement and I'm not looking for one as long as subsonic works like it does today (for audiobooks and Videos I'm using Plex with the Prologue-App for audiobooks). But with excellent apps for iOS and Android which are actively developed and the working Sonos integration I have no urge to leave subsonic even if development feels slow/non-existent. Hope sindre is fine :-)

Bloody hell your right, I've been using Subsonic for many many years, installed it on many new builds and I've never had to give admin rights to view files, or it's been so long I'd forgot! Really appreciate the heads up and very glad to see people like you still here, I dont see me ever stopping using it, I paid for a lifetime membership after all! I hope the developer is ok too..
